QUETTA: The Spokesman Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) said two terrorists were killed during an exchange of fire in the Hazar Ganji area of the city on Friday evening. There was an exchange of fire between CTD and terrorists in the Hazar Ganji area of Quetta, he said.

The CTD personnel quickly retaliated and killed two terrorists on the spot. The Spokesman said the dead terrorists were affiliated with an outlawed militant organization operating in the province. The dead terrorists were involved in a series of terrorist acts in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan.

CTD also recovered arms and ammunition from the possession of dead terrorists. In this regard, a case was also registered in the CTD police station, the Spokesman concluded.
