QUETTA: In a significant stride towards advancing healthcare infrastructure, Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki, visited the Bolan Medical Complex on Thursday. The occasion marked the inauguration of the renovation project for the Ear, Nose, Throat, and Ophthalmology Department (ENTOPD) in phase one, as part of the ambitious Digitalization of the Balochistan Human Capital Investment Project.

Secretary of Health, Isfandyar Khan, provided a comprehensive briefing to the Caretaker Chief Minister regarding the project’s scope and objectives. The project aims to bolster healthcare services in the region, ensuring that the people of Balochistan receive the best medical care possible.

CM reviews medical facilities

During his visit, Caretaker Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki took the opportunity to explore various wards of the Bolan Medical Complex. He meticulously reviewed the medical facilities available to patients, emphasizing the need for continual improvement in the healthcare system.

Caretaker Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Khan Domki expressed his satisfaction with the progress made thus far, stating that the situation at BMC had improved significantly. However, he underscored the importance of continuing to enhance the healthcare infrastructure to meet the needs of patients, especially those from remote areas of the province, including Quetta.

CM directs improving medical facilities

In line with this commitment to improving healthcare access, the Caretaker Chief Minister directed that complete medical facilities should be made available to patients arriving from the farthest corners of Balochistan. This decision reflects the government’s dedication to ensuring that every resident, regardless of their location, receives the necessary medical care.

Dr. Kamalan Gachki, the Medical Superintendent of BMC, was also present during this momentous occasion. His presence signified the collective effort and dedication of the healthcare community in Balochistan to enhance healthcare services for the betterment of the people.
