NOSHKI: Protesters blocked main Pakistan Iran highway against power outages near Mal area of Noshki district on Friday morning.

The protesters burnt tires and blocked the highway to vent their anger against the authorities. The blockade caused the suspension of traffic between Pakistan and Iran.

The protesters who were local tribesmen were demanding of the government and WAPDA to make sure provision of uninterrupted power supply.

The protest prompted the local administration to reach the spot and have negotiations with protesters. After assurance of the administration, the protesters reopened the highway.
