QUETTA: Former Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Quddus Bizenjo has announced to join the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). “I have decided to join the PPP”, Mr. Bizenjo told reporters via telephone.

The former CM’s announcement came on the eve of the 56th Youm e Tasees in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan province. “I will join the PPP along with all political supporters”, he said.

The former CM stated that he was in Karachi and would make a formal announcement in the presence of PPP leaders Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari very soon.  This strategic move marks a notable shift in his political allegiance and is expected to have far-reaching implications on the political landscape of Balochistan and the country.

His political rival, former CM of Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has already joined the Pakistan Muslim League (N).
