QUETTA: The Balochistan Secretariat Services (BSS) has given the Chief Secretariat a 15-day ultimatum to meet their demands. Malik Kakar, BSS President, urged equal opportunities for BSS officers, echoing the principles of good governance reforms.

Addressing political interference, Kakar highlighted the alleged neglect of BSS officers as part of a pre-planned conspiracy during a press conference at Quetta Press Club on Monday.

Malik Kakar said blue-eyed officers were being given important positions while ignoring the BSS officers. He noted that 90 percent of law and order was being maintained through the revenue officers (read tehsildars).

This was the job of law enforcement agencies, he said.
