QUETTA: Changaiz Hayee Baloch, the son of the late Dr. Abdul Hayee Baloch, announced joining the National Party (NP). Addressing a news conference at the Quetta Press Club, Mr. Baloch and his political colleagues from various parts of Balochistan announced the joining of the NP.

Former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Dr. Malik Baloch, the Central Secretary General of NP, Jan Buledi, Senator (R) Kabir Muhammad Shahi, and others were also present on the occasion.

“I have decided to join the NP given the party’s struggle for democracy and supremacy of the constitution,” Changaiz Hayee Baloch told reporters. He said the party, under the leadership of Dr. Malik Baloch, was playing a significant role in protecting the Baloch rights and the rights of other small nationalities living in the country.

Welcoming Changaiz Hayee Baloch to the NP, Dr. Malik Baloch said Shaheed Dr. Hayee Baloch was his political mentor, and it was a matter of immense pleasure for him that Changaiz joined the party today. “This is a success for all democracy-loving people,” Dr. Baloch said.

The former CM stated that despite all odds, the NP was trying hard to protect the Baloch rights and coast. He said no compromise would be made on the rights of the people of Balochistan. “We stand for the common man of Balochistan,” he emphasized.
