Protest on Sariab Road Quetta organized by Baloch Yekjehti Committee

QUETTA: During the third phase of the ongoing movement protesting the non-recovery of missing persons and the alleged extrajudicial killings, the Baloch Solidarity Committee organized a rally in front of Balochistan University in Quetta on Sunday. The protest, part of a series of demonstrations across Balochistan, saw a significant turnout, with participants including students, youth, political activists, and people from various parts of Balochistan, including members of the Progressive Youth Alliance.

The rally commenced on Sariab Road and proceeded towards Customs Chowk. Demonstrators voiced their support for the Baloch Long March protest movement currently taking place in Islamabad. They were demanding the recovery of the missing persons.

The administration had taken strict security measures to avoid the occurrence of any untoward incident on the eve of the protest.
