KOHLU: A Levies soldier identified as Lal Muhammad was martyred in a terrorist attack on Thursday in the Tehsil Kahan area of the Kohlu district, Balochistan.
According to reports, unknown armed men opened fire on a Levies patrol vehicle, killing Lal Muhammad and injuring another soldier. The injured soldier was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Security forces have cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the attackers. The motive behind the attack is not yet known.
Attack Condemned
The attack has been condemned by Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Domki, who expressed his condolences to the family of the martyred soldier and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.
“The brutal attack on our Levies personnel is an act of cowardice and barbarism,” Domki said. “We will not rest until the perpetrators are brought to justice. We are committed to ensuring the safety and security of our people.”

Levies are investigating the incident and have assured the public that all efforts will be made to apprehend the attackers.
