QUETTA: At least one person, believed to be a passerby, was killed in a roadside explosion on New Sabzal Road (CPEC Road) in Quetta, Balochistan, on Thursday.

Details about the incident remain scarce at this time. Initial reports suggest the blast occurred on New Sabzal Road, a major thoroughfare in Quetta that forms part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route.
