MUSLIM BAGH: An individual lost his life, and another sustained injuries during an alleged firing incident involving officials on the Muslim Bagh bypass in Qila Saifullah district on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Haji Sanaullah Badizai, the local chairman of the union council Haji Khar Badezai, while his brother, Abdul Qadir, is reported to be seriously injured.

According to reports, the firing incident occurred when officials allegedly targeted a vehicle suspected of being involved in fuel smuggling near Muslim Bagh in Balochistan province, official sources said. In response to the unfortunate event, relatives of the victims expressed their grief and frustration by blocking the road in protest.

Protesters Stage A Sit-In

Consequently, a sit-in was staged by residents on the Quetta-Zhob highway to voice their opposition to the incident. The protest resulted in the suspension of traffic on both sides of the highway. The protesters are seeking a thorough investigation into the matter to ascertain the circumstances leading to the use of lethal force and to ensure justice. Authorities are urged to address the concerns of the affected community and to conduct a transparent inquiry into the incident.
