QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Sarfaraz Bugti set forth a 30-day timeline for the formulation of a robust action plan, focusing on leveraging public-private partnerships to optimize resource utilization and enhance the quality of medical provisions across hospitals.

In a bid to revolutionize healthcare services in Balochistan, Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired a pivotal review meeting of the Health Department, emphasizing a proactive approach to ensure the well-being of the populace.

Immediate Appointments Of Surgeons Ordered

Underlining the urgency of the matter, he mandated the prompt appointment of surgeons in all district headquarters hospitals within ten days, alongside an unwavering commitment to guarantee uninterrupted access to essential medicines, personally overseeing the process.

Expressing staunch opposition to any malpractices, Chief Minister Bugti vowed to address reported discrepancies in medicine procurement, stressing the imperative of transparency and accountability.

Taking decisive action against fiscal irresponsibility, Chief Minister Bugti expressed dismay over the premature allocation of one billion rupees for healthcare projects, demanding a thorough investigation and stern legal action against those responsible.

Bugti Condemns Misuse Of Primary Health Center Buildings

In a bid to optimize resource allocation, Chief Minister Bugti condemned the misuse of primary health center buildings as personal residences, announcing stringent measures to repurpose inactive facilities and ensure judicious utilization of public funds.

Furthermore, in recognition of exemplary contributions to healthcare, Chief Minister Bugti conferred the prestigious Stara Imtiaz award upon Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi for her pivotal role in drafting the Health Care Commission proposal and her exceptional service to the sector.

State Of The Art Burn Center

Looking ahead, Chief Minister Bugti underscored the imperative of expanding burn care facilities, directing the evaluation and establishment of a state-of-the-art burn center through collaborative efforts between the government and private stakeholders.

The meeting, attended by esteemed members including Member Balochistan Assembly Dr. Rubaba Khan Buledi and Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, marked a pivotal step towards realizing a comprehensive healthcare reform agenda for the province.
