QUETTA: In a move to bolster educational opportunities and pay homage to fallen heroes, Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti introduced the Benazir Bhutto Scholarship Program in Balochistan.

Through this pioneering endeavor, the provincial government commits steadfast backing to the educational requirements of martyrs’ offspring, stated Chief Minister Bugti. “The state will adopt the role of a nurturing caretaker, ensuring that educational costs from preschool to higher education are completely covered under the Benazir Bhutto Scholarship,” he asserted.

Home Department To Collect Data Of Martyrs Families

Demonstrating deep dedication to the well-being of martyrs’ families, Chief Minister Bugti instructed the Home Department to meticulously collect data regarding all recognized martyrs.

In a groundbreaking stride toward global academic prominence, Chief Minister Bugti announced comprehensive scholarships for budding scholars from Balochistan to pursue doctoral studies in contemporary scientific fields across 200 esteemed universities worldwide.

Moreover, as an integral part of the comprehensive scholarship scheme, the highest ten scorers in matriculation from each district will be provided opportunities for advanced education within the country.

Scholarships For Minorities And Transgender Also Announced

In a gesture of inclusiveness, Chief Minister Bugti declared a fair distribution of scholarships, ensuring equal allocations annually for minorities and transgender individuals across all educational levels from preschool to master’s degree programs.

The Benazir Bhutto Scholarship Program epitomizes the government’s unyielding commitment to nurturing intellect, promoting parity, and empowering the youth of Balochistan toward a more luminous and prosperous future.
