Entertainment Desk:

Renowned Pakistani actor Mahira Khan was recently honored as a special guest at the Quetta Cultural Festival. Held on May 15, the event served as a vibrant forum for cultural and intellectual exchange, fostering meaningful discussions between the celebrated star and her audience. However, the occasion took an unexpected turn when an unidentified object was thrown at her from the crowd.

During a discussion about her career and the essence of professionalism, the object narrowly missed its mark, merely grazing the side of the actor known for her role in “Beyond the Stars.” In the wake of the incident, Mahira paused and addressed the audience, expressing her disappointment over the disrespect shown during such a prestigious event.

“I won’t continue this dialogue because of the object thrown at me, which indicates there’s no space for a meaningful conversation,” Mahira remarked. Despite the interruption, the “Journey Within” actor resumed the discussion, also voicing her strong support for a film celebrating the rich heritage of Quetta and Balochistan.
