QUETTA: In a significant crackdown on drug abuse, Baluchistan police apprehended over 2,000 heroin addicts during targeted operations. These individuals were handed over to the social welfare department for rehabilitation and support. This was revealed by the Senior Superintendent of Police ( SSP) Operations, Muhammad Baloch while addressing a press conference on Friday.

Additionally, authorities seized 193 non-customs paid vehicles, addressing revenue losses caused by tax evasion and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. The police’s resolve to bring criminals to justice was evident as they took 600 proclaimed offenders into custody, individuals with outstanding warrants related to serious crimes, Mr. Baloch informed.

Furthermore, the police successfully resolved several murder and robbery cases, providing closure to victims and their families. SSP Muhammad Baloch emphasized the force’s commitment to supporting the masses, fostering positive community relationships.

This multifaceted approach underscores the dedication of Baluchistan police to maintaining safety and justice in the region. SSP Zohaib Mohsin and Behram Mandokhail were also present on the occasion.
