CHAGHI: As a part of the continued crackdown against drug-related crime, the Superintendent of Police (SP) Chagai, Hussain Ahmed Lehri, alongside SHO Dalbandin Abdul Sattar Muhammad Hosni and other officials, announced the successful raid of notorious drug dens in Dalbandin city. Addressing a press conference, the officials revealed that a substantial amount of drugs and weapons were seized during the operation. Two key drug dealers, Maqsood and Ali Ahmed, managed to escape but are expected to be apprehended soon. Ali Ahmed, who is serving a 25-year prison sentence, is known for running a prominent drug den in the area.

Additionally, a raid was conducted at the base of a female drug dealer named Hijani in Faisal Colony, leading to her arrest. SP Chagai emphasized that these individuals are a blight on the community of Dalbandin and will face stringent action without exception. He stated, “The administration does not care about the protection or status of these drug dealers because they have no respect in society. They stay in their homes, self-intoxicate, and lead our youth into addiction.”

The officials urged the public and media to collaborate with law enforcement to identify and target those who use houses in densely populated areas for illegal drug activities. SP Chagai reiterated, “There will be no compromise on drug peddlers and street crime. Together with the people of the area, we will suppress these crimes.”

The successful raid and continued efforts to dismantle drug networks reflect the administration’s commitment to restoring safety and order in Dalbandin. The law enforcement agencies are determined to bring all perpetrators to justice and safeguard the future of the community’s youth.
