CHAMAN: In a brazen attack on a security forces vehicle, unidentified assailants opened fire on Roghani Road in Chaman city, leaving three personnel seriously injured.

The incident occurred earlier today, causing significant alarm in the area. According to initial reports, the security officers were traveling through Roghani Road when their vehicle came under sudden and heavy gunfire from unknown attackers. The injured personnel were immediately transported to a local hospital where they are currently receiving medical treatment. Hospital sources have confirmed that the injuries sustained are severe but the condition of the injured remains stable as of the latest updates.

In response to the attack, the Frontier Corps (FC) swiftly cordoned off the area to secure the scene and prevent further incidents. Meanwhile, the Levies Force has registered a case against the unknown assailants and has launched a comprehensive investigation into the attack. Security sources have indicated that they are exploring all possible leads to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.

The attack underscores the persistent security challenges in the region, which has seen sporadic violence in recent years. Authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the nearest security personnel.

This incident highlights the ongoing efforts of security forces to maintain peace and order in Balochistan, despite facing significant threats. The investigation is expected to continue with increased security measures in place to prevent further incidents.
