Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti of Balochistan has affirmed his independence in decision-making amidst speculation about his removal. Bugti asserted that Balochistan operates with complete autonomy in its governance, free from external interference.

“I am fully independent in making decisions as the Chief Minister of Balochistan,” Bugti declared. He took full accountability for the province’s outcomes, stressing the unwavering confidence placed in him by provincial leadership and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

Addressing concerns about corruption in Balochistan, Bugti acknowledged the persistent challenge, emphasizing ongoing efforts to address it. “We recognize that solving corruption cannot happen overnight, but we are actively working towards it,” he assured.

Bugti underscored his commitment to democratic principles, highlighting efforts to collaborate with the opposition in decision-making processes. “In Balochistan, we strive to engage the opposition in every decision—a testament to the beauty of democracy,” he affirmed.

Regarding recent speculations about his position, particularly during Chairman People’s Party Bilawal’s visit, Bugti responded by stating that changing governments isn’t the norm for the People’s Party. He emphasized the importance of stability and continuity in governance for the province.

As discussions about his leadership continue, Bugti remains resolute in his dedication to steering Balochistan towards progress and unity, navigating challenges with a focus on inclusive governance and sustained development.
