QUETTA: During a press conference, Farah Azim Shah, a member of the Balochistan Assembly, expressed concerns about the potential impact of the upcoming “Baloch Raji Machi” rally in Gwadar on critical development projects, including CPEC and the Green Balochistan Project. Other women parliamentarians joined Shah in highlighting issues related to the rally and broader political challenges.

Provincial Parliamentary Secretary for Women, Rababa Buledi, addressed a recent incident in the assembly, calling for respect and decorum. She underscored the right to peaceful protest within constitutional limits, while Meena Majeed Baloch suggested alternative rally locations to minimize disruptions.

Deputy Speaker Ghazala Gola emphasized the importance of dialogue in resolving issues, advocating for constructive engagement and expressing confidence in addressing concerns through discussions. The parliamentarians stressed the need for maintaining democratic principles and ensuring peaceful resolutions to political disputes.
