QUETTA: The dead bodies of five Afghan nationals, found hanging from an electric pole in Dalbandin, Balochistan, last week, were handed over to Afghan officials in Quetta. The tragic incident occurred near a college in Dalbandin, close to the borders of Afghanistan and Iran.

Following the discovery, the Afghan consulate in Balochistan, with the support of their embassy in Islamabad, made serious efforts to ensure the swift return of the bodies to their families.

The handover process was completed at the Spin Boldak-Chaman border crossing on Wednesday. The Afghan embassy condemned the brutal killings, attributing them to unknown assailants.
