QUETTA: A hand grenade attack targeted a security forces check post in the Chaman Phatak area of Quetta, leaving two individuals injured. The incident occurred earlier today when unidentified miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at the check post, causing an explosion that injured two bystanders.

The injured were immediately rushed to the Trauma Centre at Civil Hospital Quetta. According to hospital sources, both victims are currently out of danger and receiving necessary medical treatment.

Law enforcement agencies, including the police, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), and Frontier Corps (FC), swiftly responded to the scene. They have cordoned off the area and initiated an investigation to apprehend the perpetrators. Security has been heightened in the vicinity, with additional checkpoints established to prevent further incidents.
