QUETTA: A police officer who was seriously injured in a targeted shooting near his residence in Kali Diba area of Quetta has succumbed to his injuries, leading to his martyrdom.
The incident occurred when unknown assailants opened fire on the vehicle of Sub-Inspector Amanullah, who was serving at the Amir Mohammad Dasti police station. The attack left him critically injured. The police promptly shifted the injured officer to Civil Hospital for emergency treatment, but despite the efforts of medical staff, he could not survive.
Authorities have initiated an investigation to identify and apprehend the attackers. The tragic loss of Sub-Inspector Amanullah has sparked outrage among the law enforcement community, who are determined to bring the perpetrators to justice.
