Cleanliness campaign underway in the city under Safa Quetta program

Quetta—The Safa Quetta campaign to rid the city of garbage and blocked drains continues with full force. On Monday, dedicated teams completed cleanup operations in multiple areas.

The Safa Quetta administration reported that extensive garbage accumulated over several months has been removed from major locations, including Liaquat Bazar, Archer Road, Masjid Road, Mission Road, Munsafi Road, Sharia Adalat, Sharia Iqbal, and Meezan Chowk. Public complaints about waste buildup and blocked drains in areas such as Pashtunabad have also been addressed promptly.

Safa Quetta teams have removed debris and cleared long-blocked drains, improving sanitation and water flow in these heavily trafficked zones. The administration highlighted that Zone One teams, equipped with necessary machinery, are working persistently to keep the city clean and respond to residents’ concerns swiftly.

This proactive cleanup drive is expected to improve the environment, reduce health hazards, and enhance the quality of life for Quetta’s residents, reflecting the city’s commitment to cleanliness and public health.
