Barkhan – Balochistan Minister for Public Health and Engineering, Sardar Abdul Rahman Khetran, reported successfully repelling an attack on his guest house in the Nitu area of Barkhan district.

According to the minister, around 20 armed men associated with an outlawed militant organization launched an assault on his guest house.

In a statement to the media, Sardar Abdul Rahman Khan praised his security team for their prompt response, which he claimed was instrumental in thwarting the attack.

The minister expressed concern over the presence and activities of militant groups in the region, underscoring the need for enhanced security measures to protect public officials and residents alike.

“Thanks to the swift and courageous actions of my security personnel, we managed to repel the assailants and prevent further damage,” he stated. Local authorities are investigating the incident, with additional security protocols being reviewed to ensure safety in the area.
