Quetta — The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has announced its support for candidates of the independent panel in the upcoming Balochistan High Court Bar Association elections.

The decision reflects the party’s commitment to fostering independent representation in the legal community.

A delegation of lawyers and members of the Peoples Lawyers Forum met with PPP Parliamentary Leader in the Balochistan Assembly, Muhammad Sadiq Umrani, urging him to back the independent panel. In response, Umrani assured that the Peoples Lawyers Forum would vote for Atta Lango Advocate, a key candidate representing the independent panel.

This strategic move aligns with instructions from PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, emphasizing the party’s dedication to supporting independent and competent leadership within the legal fraternity.
