Guard of Honor for the Governor Balochistan

QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail lauded the achievements of 501 graduates, including 25 PhD scholars, during the 21st convocation of the University of Balochistan on Wednesday. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized the graduates’ role in shaping a brighter future for Pakistan and humanity in the era of artificial intelligence and the fourth industrial revolution.

The event celebrated 27 MPhil scholars, 415 graduates, and 34 gold medalists. Governor Mandokhail expressed pride in the university’s commitment to modern technology and innovation, stating, “The University of Balochistan is at the forefront of promoting cutting-edge technologies and global trends. This is the path to development and prosperity.”

He acknowledged the university’s financial and teaching challenges and assured full support for resolving these issues under Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Bazai’s leadership.

Prominent attendees included Provincial Education Minister Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, Iranian Consul General Hassan Darwishmand, and vice chancellors of other public-sector universities in Balochistan.

Governor Mandukhel highlighted the transformative impact of the university’s faculty on the youth and urged graduates to honor their parents and contribute to society. Certificates and gold medals were distributed among the graduates and top performers.

The convocation showcased the university’s dedication to producing skilled graduates ready to embrace the challenges of a technologically driven world.
