The Balochistan Meteorological Center has issued a weather advisory, predicting cold conditions accompanied by strong winds across several districts from December 7 to December 9, 2024.

Key Affected Areas:

  • Coastal districts, including Gwadar, Awaran, Kech, and Panjgur, are expected to experience strong winds.
  • Inland regions like Washuk, Kharan, Chagai, Sorab, Kalat, Bolan, Mastung, Pashin, Qila Abdullah, Zhob, and Qila Saifullah will also face gales and dust storms.

According to the Meteorological Center, these strong winds may cause sand and dust storms, reducing visibility and potentially disrupting travel. The temperature is forecasted to drop by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius in certain areas, intensifying the cold weather conditions.

Safety Advisory:
Residents in affected districts are advised to avoid unnecessary travel during this period and take precautions to safeguard against the harsh weather.
