LASBELA: A tragic road accident on the national highway near Lasbela’s Vander area claimed the lives of four people, including three women and a child, while two others sustained injuries.

The accident occurred when a speeding car collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction. According to initial reports, the victims belonged to the same family traveling in the ill-fated car.

Rescue teams promptly shifted the deceased and injured to Vander Hospital for medical treatment and legal formalities. The condition of the injured individuals remains critical, hospital sources confirmed.

Such accidents are a grim reminder of the dangers posed by reckless driving on highways, emphasizing the urgent need for traffic regulation enforcement to prevent further tragedies.
