Quetta: The driver of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Quetta was injured in a firing incident on Tuesday, police sources confirmed. Unknown individuals opened fire on the driver, leaving him with injuries to his leg.

The injured driver was promptly rushed to the Trauma Center at Civil Hospital Quetta for medical treatment. Police stated that the victim received three gunshot wounds and is currently under medical care.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the motive and identify those responsible. Security measures in the area have been enhanced as inquiries continue.

This incident highlights ongoing concerns about security in the city, with officials urging vigilance to ensure public safety.
