QUETTA: Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail commended the efforts of the Directorate General of Public Relations (DGPR) Balochistan for effectively utilizing digital platforms to highlight the province’s positive image. During a meeting with DGPR Noor Khetran at Governor House, the governor emphasized the pivotal role of media in today’s digital age.

The discussion focused on the evolving media landscape, initiatives for a penless and paperless environment, and strategies to connect with digital technologies. Governor Mandokhail acknowledged the DGPR officers’ contributions to enhancing the province’s reputation on social media and bridging the gap between the government and the public.

“The media is a key pillar of the state, and in this advanced era of digital information technology, its role cannot be overlooked,” the governor remarked. He further stated that the current government is committed to freedom of expression and encouraged public relations officers to adopt modern technologies.

Governor Mandukhel also highlighted the importance of organizing specialized training programs to enhance the capacity and efficiency of DGPR officers, enabling them to adapt to the rapidly changing media landscape.

The governor’s remarks underline the government’s vision of transitioning to digital solutions and fostering a strong connection between governance and the public through effective media strategies.
