QUETTA: The Election Tribunal in Quetta has dismissed the plea filed against alleged rigging in the PB-31 elections. Justice Abdullah Baloch, the Tribunal Judge, delivered the reserved verdict, rejecting the allegations due to insufficient and defective evidence.

The complaint was initially filed by Mujeebur Rahman Muhammad Hassani, who accused JUI Member of the Provincial Assembly, Zabid Ali Reki, of election misconduct. However, the petitioner and his lawyer failed to attend multiple hearings, weakening their case.

Zabid Ali Reki was represented by Kamran Murtaza Advocate, Qazi Najeeb Advocate, and Baloch Khan Advocate. The Election Commission of Pakistan was represented by Assistant Director Shahzada Salam and Naseer Ahmed during the proceedings.
