Quetta, December 30: Secretary Information Imran Khan, during his visit to the Directorate of Public Relations Balochistan, presided over a significant meeting on short film documentary competitions aimed at engaging boys’ and girls’ government schools across the province.

This initiative, spearheaded by the Information Department, is designed to foster creativity among students while promoting Balochistan’s positive image. Awards are set to be given to the top three entries, with certificates distributed to all participants as a gesture of encouragement.

  • Attendees: The meeting included DGPR Balochistan Muhammad Noor Khetran, Director Public Relations Syed Tanveer Akhtar, Director Public Relations Saeed Ahmed Shahwani, Deputy Director Public Relations Muhammad Naseebullah, Manzoor Ahmed Magsi, and other senior officials.
  • Objective: To showcase student talent and highlight Balochistan’s cultural heritage and tourism potential through creative short documentaries.

Secretary Information Imran Khan praised the initiative, aligning it with Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti’s vision to enhance public awareness of government policies, development projects, and welfare initiatives.

“These competitions are a platform for nurturing student skills while reflecting Balochistan’s bright future. The younger generation will play a vital role in portraying a positive image of the province through their creative endeavours,” said the Secretary.

The competitions underline the province’s dedication to empowering youth and celebrating its rich cultural and historical landscape, reinforcing Balochistan as a hub for innovation and artistic expression.
