QUETTA: A simple yet dignified swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed additional judges of the Balochistan High Court took place in the court’s auditorium.

Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court, Justice Muhammad Hashim Khan Kakar, administered the oath to the three additional judges: Mohammad Asif Riki, Mohammad Ayub Khan Tareen, and Najamuddin Mengal.

The event was attended by High Court judges, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, President of the Supreme Court Bar Association Rauf Atta Advocate, senior officials, and representatives of lawyers’ organizations.

This appointment is expected to strengthen the judicial system in Balochistan, ensuring swifter delivery of justice. The presence of prominent figures highlighted the importance of this occasion for the province’s judiciary.

This development comes as part of ongoing efforts to enhance the capacity of the judiciary and uphold the rule of law in Balochistan.
