Quetta: The Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) carried out anti-smuggling operations along Balochistan’s coastal belt, including Gadani and Jiwani, seizing a large quantity of high-quality foreign liquor valued at approximately $63,000 in the international market.

According to a PCG spokesperson, intelligence-based operations were conducted in Gadani and at a Super Highway road checkpoint.

During the Gadani operation, authorities confiscated 1,973 bottles of smuggled foreign liquor, which were being transported via the sea route.

Additionally, 102 bottles of liquor were recovered from a passenger coach during a routine Super Highway checkpoint inspection.

The seized liquor was being smuggled inland, but PCG’s swift action prevented its distribution. The authorities remain committed to curbing illegal trade and smuggling activities along Pakistan’s coastal regions.
