Quetta, Feb 4: In a significant cabinet reshuffle, the Balochistan government has appointed Ameer Hamza Zehri as the Advisor to the Chief Minister on Local Government, a position equivalent to a provincial minister.

The portfolio was previously held by Sardar Kohyar Domki, but it has now been reassigned. Zehri, the son of Nawab Zehri a senior leader of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), is regarded as an influential political figure in the province. He is the son of Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, a former Chief Minister of Balochistan.

The decision was confirmed through an official notification issued by the provincial government on February 4. The reshuffle marks a significant political development in Balochistan’s provincial cabinet, reflecting new alignments within the administration.
