The National Party’s Central Committee convened at Muhammad Shahi House, Quetta, under the leadership of Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch. During his address, Dr. Baloch expressed deep concerns over the worsening situation in Balochistan, attributing it to government negligence, road blockades, and enforced disappearances. He emphasized that flawed policies continue to fuel instability in the province.

Dr. Baloch highlighted that the National Party is actively fulfilling its oppositional role in the Senate and National Assembly, raising concerns over federal policies that, instead of resolving issues, have intensified the crisis. He warned that relying on force rather than governance will further deteriorate the situation.

Speaking on economic hardships, he criticized the closure of border trade, which has affected livelihoods, and condemned the destruction of the local fishing industry, accusing authorities of allowing extortion mafias to exploit coastal resources. He also lamented that while the world progresses, Balochistan remains deprived of fundamental services.

Dr. Baloch pointed out the growing political and institutional conflicts, warning that interference from powerful circles is deepening instability. He stressed that all institutions must function within their constitutional limits rather than engaging in power struggles.

He further alleged that major political parties have compromised on their principles, allowing electoral manipulation for financial gains. He claimed that even government transfers and postings are being auctioned off. Concluding his address, Dr. Baloch praised the National Party’s National Congress, which, according to him, has received widespread recognition from democratic circles across the country.
