News Desk,Manan Mandokhail:
Quetta, February 26 – The Balochistan government has strongly reacted to Opposition Leader Omar Ayub’s recent statements, calling them irresponsible and politically motivated.
CM Balochistan’s Invitation to Omar Ayub
Balochistan government spokesperson Shahid Rind revealed that Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti had officially invited Omar Ayub to visit Balochistan and witness the province’s ground realities firsthand. However, instead of accepting the offer, Ayub continued to push a narrative of political chaos.
Opposition Leader Criticized for Neglecting Ground Realities
The spokesperson stated that the chief minister had even held a detailed discussion with the opposition leader, offering him a chance to assess the province’s situation. However, Ayub’s recent remarks demonstrated his lack of awareness regarding his constitutional position and responsibilities.
“By creating unnecessary controversies, Omar Ayub has proven that he lacks the capability to fulfill his role as opposition leader,” said Shahid Rind.
Balochistan Govt Rejects Blame Game Politics
The Balochistan government distanced itself from politics based on accusations, stressing its commitment to addressing real national issues through consultation and dialogue.
“Omar Ayub’s party ruled Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for ten years, and everyone has witnessed the law and order situation there,” the spokesperson added.
Security Assurances for Opposition Leader’s Visit
The government reiterated that if Omar Ayub genuinely wanted to resolve issues, the invitation to visit Quetta was still open, and full security would be provided.
“Blame games did not bring peace to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and they will not work in Balochistan either,” Rind said, warning that political instability only fuels social media debates rather than solving real problems.
High-Level Meeting on Highway Blockades
Meanwhile, the Balochistan government has taken steps to address the issue of national highway blockades. CM Sarfaraz Bugti has called a high-level meeting to assess the progress on the “three-tier formula” given to district administrations.
The Balochistan government emphasized its willingness to engage in dialogue and consultations for the country’s greater good while rejecting divisive political narratives.
