QUETTA – Pakistan Security Forces conducted two high-tempo Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) in Washuk and Mastung districts of Balochistan on August 5 and 6, 2026, as part of the ongoing “Rad-ul-Fitna-3” campaign. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operations resulted in the killing of 12 terrorists belonging to Fitna Al Hindustan.
According to the ISPR, on August 5, the movement of six terrorists was detected in Washuk District. Security forces effectively engaged the terrorists, and through what the military described as a precise and skillful engagement, all six terrorists belonging to Fitna Al Hindustan were killed.
In another Intelligence Based Operation conducted on August 6 in Mastung District, security forces engaged another group of terrorists in an intense exchange of fire. The ISPR said six more terrorists were killed during the operation, while their hideout was also destroyed.
The military stated that these operations are part of the ongoing series of Intelligence Based Operations under “Rad-ul-Fitna-3,” a relentless counterterrorism campaign aimed at eliminating Indian proxies operating as Fitna Al Hindustan.
The ISPR further said that, under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, Pakistan’s Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies will continue operations at full pace to eliminate the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
