MUSAKHEL: A sudden wildfire broke out on Nath Mountain in Darg Tehsil, Musakhel, at around 7:30 PM, rapidly engulfing a large part of the forest and posing a severe threat to wildlife.

Deputy Commissioner Captain (R) Juma Dad Khan Mandokhail swiftly mobilized the Levies Force, the Forest Department, and the Livestock Department to tackle the fire. Local residents also played an active role in the firefighting efforts. After four hours of relentless efforts, the blaze was successfully contained.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and an investigation is underway. Authorities credited the swift and coordinated response for preventing major losses. The deputy commissioner praised all those involved in the operation for their dedication and prompt action.
