BOLAN: Railway engineering and technical teams visited the site of the attack to assess the damage, officials confirmed.

According to railway authorities, repair work on the damaged track will commence tomorrow. The blast had damaged the engine and five bogies of the Jaffer Express, along with 382 feet of railway track near Machh.

Railway officials estimated that the track restoration would take 8 to 10 hours. “We are making every effort to repair the track as soon as possible and resume train services,” an official stated.

The suspension of train operations has caused difficulties for passengers, especially with Eid-ul-Fitr approaching. Authorities are working to restore services at the earliest.
