Noshki: A devastating attack targeted a Frontier Corps (FC) convoy on the Noshki-Dalbandin highway on Sunday, resulting in the deaths of five people, including three FC personnel and two civilians, while 35 others sustained injuries.

According to security sources, the assailants carried out a bomb explosion followed by a suicide attack near a passenger bus, causing significant casualties. In an immediate retaliatory response, security forces killed four attackers, including the suicide bomber.

Following the incident, emergency measures were implemented at Mir Gul Khan Nasir Teaching Hospital, where the injured were transferred for medical treatment. The explosion’s impact was so severe that its sound was heard across distant areas. Security personnel swiftly arrived at the scene, securing the location and initiating a comprehensive investigation.

Authorities confirmed that all escape routes for the attackers were blocked, and a clearance operation was launched to neutralize any remaining threats.

CM Sarfaraz Bugti Condemns Attack, Vows Justice

Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti strongly condemned the attack, stating that terrorists would find no refuge. In a statement issued after the incident, he commended the swift response of security forces in neutralizing the attackers, including the suicide bomber. He assured that the perpetrators would be brought to justice, emphasizing that the government would not spare anyone involved in such acts of violence.
