Quetta: Mobile phone signals were restored in Quetta after a 16-hour outage, but internet services remain suspended for the third consecutive day, causing severe difficulties for residents, students, and businesses.

The prolonged internet disruption has impacted various sectors, with users struggling to connect. Students, business owners, and professionals who rely on the internet for their daily tasks are the worst affected.

“I couldn’t submit my assignment on time due to the internet suspension,” said Ahsan Ali, a university student.

Business owners also expressed frustration. “Online transactions and communication with clients have been badly disrupted,” said Muhammad Faisal, a local trader.

Ordinary citizens also suffer. “Even contacting relatives has become a challenge,” said Khalid Ahmed, a resident of Quetta.

Despite mobile signals returning, internet users demand immediate restoration of services to avoid further disruption to daily life.
