CHAGAI, April 16, 2025 — The District Council of Chagai has unanimously approved an Rs. 80 million development budget for the fiscal year 2024–25.
The budget session, presided over by District Chairman Khan Abdul Wadood Khan Sanjrani and Speaker Mir Asfandyar Khan Yarmohammadzai, emphasized inclusive planning and transparent execution.
The session commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by discussions where Union Council chairmen presented proposals addressing local needs. These proposals were collectively endorsed by the council.
Chairman Sanjrani highlighted that the budget prioritizes essential sectors such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, clean drinking water, sanitation, road construction, youth employment, and women’s empowerment.
He reaffirmed the council’s commitment to transparency and accountability in implementing development projects.
Speaker Yarmohammadzai noted the inclusive nature of the budget preparation process, ensuring that the needs of all regions within the district were considered. He urged officials to ensure the transparent and timely utilization of funds and to complete all development projects with quality and efficiency.
The council’s approval of the budget marks a significant step towards addressing the district’s developmental needs and enhancing the quality of life for its residents.
