QUETTA: An exchange of gunfire took place between the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and terrorists in the Darakshan area.
During the operation, one terrorist was shot dead, while another detonated an explosive device, killing himself.
CTD personnel recovered a suicide vest and a large cache of weapons from the scene.
According to officials, the slain terrorists were planning major attacks in the province, but a swift and timely action by CTD foiled their deadly plot
