Qaseem Shah:

Quetta: The Government of Balochistan is finalizing its 2025–2026 budget, with a strong focus on healthcare, education, and job creation, according to Provincial Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani.

Speaking to the media, Nosherwani said the new budget will be people-focused and designed to improve living standards and promote sustainable development across the province. “Our top priority is to meet the real needs of the people of Balochistan,” he stated.

He announced that health and education will receive the largest share of the budget. The government plans to invest in healthcare infrastructure, improve access to medical services, and expand facilities in both urban and remote areas.

In the education sector, funds will be used to upgrade schools, train teachers, and improve access to quality education for children across the province. Nosherwani said these steps are vital for securing a better future for Balochistan’s youth.

To tackle unemployment, the budget will include new initiatives focused on job creation. These include support for local industries, the launch of vocational training programs, and special schemes to help young people find employment.

The finance minister also said the budget will be designed to meet the specific needs of each district, ensuring that resources are shared fairly. “No district will be ignored. Our goal is a balanced and inclusive development plan,” he added.
