CHAGAI – In a major security operation late last night, the Chagai Levies Force intercepted a suspicious vehicle and recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition.
According to officials, the operation led to the recovery of a Light Machine Gun (LMG), 600 rounds of ammunition, and eight barrels. The arms were seized during routine patrolling and snap-checking in the area.
A case has been registered against unknown suspects under FIR No. 21/2025, and legal proceedings have been initiated under Section 15-E.
The Chagai Levies Force remains active in maintaining law and order in the region, regularly conducting snap-checks, patrols, and vehicle inspections to prevent unlawful activities.
Local residents have praised the Levies Force for their timely action and expressed satisfaction over their growing efforts to ensure peace and security in the district.
