Hussain Zarkoon:

A tragic incident occurred in a local coal mine in Duki, where a miner lost his life due to a landslide inside the mine.

According to police officials, the body of the deceased was retrieved from the mine through the efforts of fellow workers without any official rescue support. The deceased has been identified as Habibullah, a resident of Qila Saifullah.

After completing necessary legal formalities, police handed over the body to the victim’s family, and it was later sent to his hometown, Qila Saifullah, for burial.

This incident has once again highlighted the lack of safety measures and emergency response systems in local coal mines, raising concerns among labor rights activists and local communities.
