LASBELA – The three-day annual Hinglaj Mata Nani Mandir festival came to a peaceful and vibrant close in Balochistan’s Lasbela district, drawing thousands of Hindu pilgrims from across Pakistan.

The festival featured sacred rituals, special prayers, and a strong display of interfaith and cultural harmony. Pilgrims gathered not only to fulfill religious obligations but also to celebrate unity and peace.
Prominent figures, including Senator Dinesh Kumar, former MPA Makhhi Sham Lal, and Deputy Commissioner Lasbela Humaira Baloch, attended the event. Speaking to media, DC Baloch said, “The successful organization of this event reflects Balochistan’s commitment to religious harmony and cultural respect.”
Stringent security measures were in place throughout the festival, with walkthrough gates, police, Frontier Corps (FC), and Coast Guards ensuring safety. Medical teams, ambulances, and Rescue 1122 services remained active on the directions of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti.
The Hinglaj Shiva Mandali provided free meals, water, and medicines to all devotees, while makeshift camps in Chandragup offered temporary lodging before the pilgrims proceeded to the main temple.
Special collective prayers were offered for Pakistan’s peace and prosperity, echoing a message of unity and shared national spirit. The district administration and Coast Guards also organized free medical camps for attendees.
DC Humaira Baloch appreciated the teamwork behind the event’s success, stating, “Our administration ensured clean surroundings, proper food and shelter for the comfort of pilgrims. This festival is a beautiful example of interfaith unity in Balochistan.”
The Hinglaj Mata Mela continues to serve as a powerful symbol of religious coexistence, cultural heritage, and community solidarity in Pakistan.
