QUETTA – May 7, 2025: The Balochistan Assembly on Wednesday unanimously adopted a resolution strongly denouncing recent Indian aggression, which lawmakers said targeted innocent civilians and violated Pakistan’s sovereignty.

Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti presented the resolution, terming the Indian military action as a “blatant act of war” and a “false flag operation.” He stated that Pakistan’s armed forces responded firmly and effectively, ensuring the country’s defense remains impenetrable.

“India’s deliberate targeting of civilians is a direct attack on our sovereignty. Our air force’s decisive action and the raised white flags on the other side of the Line of Control show who was truly prepared,” said Chief Minister Bugti during the session.

Members from across the political spectrum voiced their support for Pakistan’s military and called for international attention to India’s escalatory behavior.

MPA Noor Muhammad Dummar said, “India’s actions have only strengthened our resolve. The nation is fully behind its soldiers.”

Echoing this sentiment, MPA Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran remarked, “This aggression is not just a violation of borders—it is a violation of humanity. We urge global powers to break their silence.”

Minority MPA Kiran Kumari Ravi added, “As a Pakistani, I fully back our armed forces. No community stands apart when it comes to national defense.”

MPA Abdul Majeed Badini called on the federal government to raise the issue internationally: “India’s dangerous adventurism must not go unchecked. The world must respond.”

Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman emphasized national unity, saying, “Pakistan is not afraid of intimidation. We are ready, and we are united.”

The resolution urged Islamabad to take the matter to global forums, calling on the international community to hold India accountable for endangering peace in South Asia.
