Pakistan Downs 5 Indian Fighter Jets, Destroys Brigade HQ in Response to Cross-Border Attacks.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Air Force has shot down two Indian fighter jets in retaliation for overnight missile attacks on multiple locations, including Kotli, Bahawalpur, Muridke, Bagh, and Muzaffarabad, according to state media.

Quoting security officials, state broadcaster PTV News reported that the Pakistan military responded forcefully to what it described as Indian aggression. “Pakistan’s armed forces are delivering a strong and timely response. As per initial information, two Indian aircraft have been brought down. All Pakistani jets remain unscathed,” the statement said.

The incident marks a sharp escalation in military tensions between the two nuclear-armed nations, following India’s late-night airstrikes.
