PISHIN, May 17, 2025 – A troubling incident has been reported in the Yaru area of Pishin, where a minor girl was allegedly abducted from her home on the evening.

Levies Station Yaru has registered an FIR (No. 07/2025) under Section 365/B of the Pakistan Penal Code, which deals with kidnapping or abduction with intent to compel for marriage.

According to the complaint, the girl went missing at around 7:15 PM. After days of unsuccessful searches, a confidential source informed the family that the girl had been taken to Karachi. The investigation led to the identification of the alleged abductor, Najibullah, son of Siraj, a resident of Killi Abdul Shakoor Kakar, Karachi.

Authorities have launched a formal investigation, and efforts are underway to recover the girl and arrest the accused.

Public Appeals for Swift Action

Community members have strongly appealed to Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, to take immediate notice of the case. They urge him to ensure that law enforcement acts swiftly to recover the abducted girl and bring the accused to justice.

An appeal has also been made to the Commissioner of Quetta Division to monitor the progress of the investigation, coordinate with security officials, and provide full support to the victim’s family. Locals stress the importance of state institutions taking firm action to protect children and deter such crimes in the future.
